Lambda Epsilon Omega Celebrates Metro Atlanta Founder’s Day

Lambda Epsilon Omega chapter members attended the 2014 Metro Atlanta Founders Day in true style!! Over 120  of our chapter members came out in their beautiful Vintage Pink and Green outfits to share, fellowship and celebrate our 106th Founders Day. The luncheon was a standing room only affair, with over 1300 members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in attendance. Lambda Epsilon Omega was represented on the Dais by International Membership Chairman, our very own  Charletta Wilson Jacks as well as by our President, Betty Stuckey.  Betty also served as a leader in the Rededication Ceremony.

After the luncheon, Lambda Epsilon Omega was well represented again.  Charletta Wilson Jacks led the “Through the Years…The Excellence of Mary Shy Scott” breakout session.  This session included top leaders in the South Atlantic region who shared the impact of Metropolitan Atlanta’s iconic and dear former International President Mary Shy Scott – on their leadership styles and sisterhood walk of life.  Another breakout session included two of our Golden Members – Betty Richardson Brown and Rowena Dennard, as they participated in a special Panel Discussion and shared their AKA memories and history. It was truly a great celebration and Lambda Epsilon Omega’s presence was on point.
