Pink Goes Red: "A Kettlebell Party"
In observation of American Heart Associations’ Healthy Heart Month, Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter is hosting a group fitness class for women of all ages!
Join us as we become heart conscious and healthy during a kettlebell workout session! The cost is only $5 and will be accepted the day of. Free fitness screenings will be offered at 11:30 am. The Kettlebell class with begin at 12PM. Join us and help fight heart disease!
Kettlebell Workout– Kettlebell exercises build strength and endurance, particularly in the lower back, legs, and shoulders, and increase grip strength. Unlike the exercises with dumbbells or barbells, kettlebell exercises often involve large numbers of repetitions. Kettlebell exercises are in their nature holistic; therefore they work several muscles simultaneously and may be repeated continuously for several minutes or with short breaks. This combination makes the exercise partially aerobic and more similar to interval training rather than to traditional weight lifting.
